Lots and lots of painting.
A kitchen makeover is the first on our long list of house projects.
Unfortunately we can't get new appliances at this time but we are starting with taking our dark cabinets to a light bright color.
We spent about 20 hours sanding, priming, and painting and are close to finished with the top cabinets.
Although far from done the lighter color already makes me smile.
Kaleb even got in on some painting action.
The rest of the weekend was spent watching The Wire(Yes we are 10 years behind but thanks to HBO Go Kenny and I are hooked on this show)
The weekends to come will be spent with more work on the kitchen and lots of beadboard.

I love the light cabinets! I think that will look good against your dark walls.
Looking forward to seeing the finished product!! We are about to tackle a kitchen too! Exciting but kinda stressful! I need to win a Lowe's gift card with a huge balance or something!
